I am joined by Christopher Killion with ServiceNow to discuss credentials. We walk through how to connect to all kinds of hosts in your environment to run through the process of Discovery and Service Mapping. He defines what is required for WMI, SSH, and SNMP, which are discussed in greater detail. Christopher uses what he has learned in recent client engagements and offers some straight forward advice for preparing to deploy the #ITOM Suite in your own environment. This discussion is definitely geared towards our more technical audience, but anyone that listens will come away with a better understanding of how credentials work along with the definitions of Unicorn Dust (Hat tip to Jeff Gibb) and what you want to be when you grow up.
